It was hot and we were exhausted! We had been working with a local realtor for sixty days and still had several months worth of work to do to get the rental house on the market. We had a knock on the door Friday evening of the Memorial Day weekend, David Chrisp, was cold calling to see if we might be interested in selling the house. The following Tuesday, David had a number of contractors, plumber, electrician, carpenter, carpet installer to size up the situation and make quotes for us. At that point the magic happened. In three weeks the house was on the market. It sold a week later and we got $185,000.00 more than the first realtor wanted us to list it for. This was in 2017.
